BEIJING-- The high-performance, intelligence model launched just recently by Chinese start-up DeepSeek has produced a wave of attention worldwide. DeepSeek-R1 appears to offer efficiency that competitors options from the U.S., but the business says it was established at less than a tenth of the cost of those designs. Chinese innovation news portal 36Kr spoke with the business's creator, wiki.snooze-hotelsoftware.de Liang Wenfeng, in July 2024.
